This process of switching graphics cards on the fly causes problems with Isadora (and a number of other live video applications). Most Windows laptops with dedicated graphics cards also have integrated Intel graphics chips and energy-saving features, (which are enabled by default), that dynamically switch which graphics card any given application is using based on its current performance requirements. Windows users on laptops should follow these steps to properly configure their computers before working with Isadora.
